Insurance company flagged your electrical? Here’s what to do.
Renewal letters, new policies and home sales often turn up the same handful of electrical issues. We assess what your insurer is worried about, fix it properly and give you the ESA paperwork they ask for.

Requirements vary by insurer, so always check what yours is asking for. These are the ones we see most.

Insurance & electrical FAQ
For insurance, ESA directs homeowners to a Licensed Electrical Contractor for an electrical safety assessment of the existing system. We’re licensed (ESA #7018850) and can do the assessment and any repairs that come out of it.
It depends on the insurer. Many ask for a letter or report from a licensed electrical contractor, and if work was done, the ESA Certificate of Acceptance showing the repairs passed inspection. We provide both.
Not always. Some insurers give you a deadline, and some issues are more urgent than others. We’ll help you prioritize what your insurer actually requires.
No. Both can still be present legally, but many insurers treat them as higher risk and may require an assessment, repairs or replacement before they’ll cover the home.
Yes. If a home inspection flagged electrical issues, we can assess them and quote the fix so you know the real cost before you close.
